Guiseppe Verdi: REQUIEM

The Tahoe Symphony Orchestra & Chorus debuts a thoughtfully curated presentation of Verdi’s choral masterpiece.

Featuring an exceptional guest soloist roster and iconic movements from the thunderous Dies irae to the transcendent Libera me, this program highlights the dramatic power, emotional range, and luminous orchestral writing that has made the Requiem one of the most beloved works in the choral-orchestral canon.

Artistic Director Candidate Finalist, Hannah Von Wiehler's carefully selected excerpts create a compelling musical journey that invites both seasoned concertgoers and new audiences into the heart of Verdi’s powerful vision.
