New Tool Lending Hours

We now have tool lending open hours on Mondays. Members can now pick up tool reservations and make tool returns on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.

We have completed our move, and we are now in our forever home at Tacoma Public Library Main Branch! 

Tacoma Tool Library is located on the 2nd floor of the Tacoma Public Library Main Branch at 1102 Tacoma Ave South Ste. 201 Tacoma, 98402. 

Our entrance is in the alley at 1100 Court F. Enter through the gated door or our small garage door (when open).

Reserve Tools

Current members can log into their MyTurn account and reserve tools for pick-up on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Log in in the upper right-hand corner of this page.

Become a Member

Anyone 18 years or older with ID that shows their name and birthdate can become a Tacoma Tool Library (TTL) member. Access the ‘Create an Account’ button in the upper right-hand corner of this page.

Fix-it Nights: New Location & New Hours

Fix-it Nights are held at Tacoma Public Library Main Branch on the 2nd floor in the Mixing Chamber. The new Fix-it Nights hours are Thursdays, 5:30pm - 7:30pm. Our entrance is in the alley at 1100 Court F. Enter through the gated door or our small garage door (when open).

Make-it Sew: New Location & Now Every Week!

Make-it Sew is held at Tacoma Public Library Main Branch on the 2nd floor in the Mixing Chamber. Make-it Sew is held on Tuesdays from 6pm - 7:30pm. However, sewing instruction is only available on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays. Our entrance is in the alley at 1100 Court F. Enter through the gated door or our small garage door (when open).
