All Texas providers must attain their full T3C credential before September 1, 2027. With less than two years remaining to the full roll-out of T3C across the state, nearly 55% of Texas children and youth are already being served in T3C Service Packages. At this time, the T3C Credentialing Platform is open and accepting applications for the Full Credential (for Child Placing Agencies and General Residential Operations).
Whether your organization is almost Credentialed or hasn’t gotten started, the Center is here to help.
The Texas Center for Child and Family Studies and DFPS are excited to partner together to announce virtual T3C Office Hours! T3C Office Hours will be regularly scheduled and will allow Licensed Providers to drop in and ask any questions you may have about T3C. Whether you’ve got a question about T3C requirements, updated Blueprints, FAQs, Rates & Funding, Events & Training, or anything else T3C, drop in and ask us!
T3C Office Hours are available for Licensed Providers only and will allow those providers to ask burning questions and learn from other’s experience. No need to register, just drop in!

We are looking for individuals who work for a T3C credentialed child placing agency and/or a general residential organization who would mentor a peer from a like organization on specific aspects of T3C requirements. We will pay the mentor for both their time mentoring along with a stipend for preparatory time.
The Commitment: 10 virtual, one-hour mentoring sessions within six months of the first session date. T3C Ready will provide an orientation along with support materials to facilitate your success. Mentors will be paid for both mentoring and preparatory time.
