I have a laser and had been using T2 laser program for my setup. i had not used the laser nor the pc for several months. I just tried to use it over the weekend and the T2 app would not open. I had to download the program again . now that i have download it I no longer have communication to the laser. can someone help me figure this out please?
LOVE this software! It's a little more complex than the software that came with my laser engraver but that is actually a good thing as it gives you far more control and has fewer (like zero) errors or imperfections on the output image. When my computer I was running the hardware with crashed, Zax was extremely helpful in getting me back up and running on a new machine even though it was the weekend. I will recommend this product to anybody I talk to who needs to run a CNC type machine.
Give up on the basic and unrelieable software that came with your chinese laser. Grab yourself T2 and make your life a LOT easier. T2 just works exactly as it is meant to, every time. Since switching I have not had a failed burn except where I measured incorrectly. Really flexible with loads of options if you need them or as basic and easy to use as you would like. Wouldn't be without it and worth every penny.
A very good, practical software for all the Arduino driven laser devices. The author is always responsive, and continues developing the software. This is the only software I use with Inkscape for my lasering needs. Thumbs Up!
