Moder included in Brighton's Premier League squad despite lack of action since ACL injury
Brighton have included Jakub Moder in their Premier League squad list for the first half of the season.
The 24-year-old Poland international midfielder hasn’t played since rupturing an anterior cruciate knee ligament against Norwich in April 2022.
The squad can be changed after the January transfer window.
Premier League 25-man squads announced
On Wednesday, all Premier League clubs announced their 25-man squads for the 2023-24 campaign.
England’s top-flight clubs are required to submit their squad lists for the first half of the season following the end of the summer transfer window. Each team is allowed no more than 17 players who do not fulfil the homegrown category. Under-21 players do not count towards the total.

ICYMI: PL to appoint Sumner as new chief policy and corporate affairs officer
The Premier League are set to appoint Clare Sumner as their new chief policy and corporate affairs officer.
Sumner is currently serving notice at the BBC where she holds the role of Director, Policy. She has been with the corporation since 2014.
Clubs were informed of the appointment earlier this week.

ICYMI: Toffolo given suspended five-month ban after breaching betting rules
Nottingham Forest defender Harry Toffolo has been given a suspended five-month ban by the Football Association (FA) after admitting he breached betting rules 375 times.
The 28-year-old’s ban has been suspended until the 2024-25 season. He has also been fined £20,956, with the sanctions imposed by an independent regulatory commission following a hearing.
Toffolo admitted that he breached FA Rule E1 (b) on 375 occasions between January 22, 2014 and March 18, 2017.
The FA added that the written reasons for the decisions “will be published in due course”.
