This event is for anyone who loves comics. We have had a break due to Covid but we are back and ready to run our 8th event in our tenth year! Nottingham Comic Con will be held on Saturday 29th October at the Nottingham Conference Centre (Entrance to the event on the day will be via Nottingham Trent University Newton Building on Goldsmith Street).Notitngham Comic Con was born when Kev and Kel were discussing comics and they decided to run a fully comic-focused event to celebrate the independant creators as well as the more well known.As always there will be artists from all walks of the comic world showing off and selling their work. You will get a chance to find out more from those involved in comics through our Q and A Sessions and chatting to them at their tables.In previous years we have seen some amazing Cosplay and are hoping to see even more this year, come as your favourite character and get your photo taken! A raffle will be run on the day to raise money for our nominated charity!FAQsWhat are my transport/parking options getting to the event?As the event is in the city centre there are many car parks close by to the venue. The closest car parks are <a href="http://www.q-park.co.uk/parking/nottingham/q-park-talbot-street" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Q Park Talbot Street</a> but there are others that you can find <a href="http://www.nottinghamcity.gov.uk/article/23457/Car-Parks" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">HERE</a>There are 7 park and ride sites around Nottingham more information can be found <a href="http://www.nottinghamcity.gov.uk/parkandride" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">HERE</a>Nottingham Conference Centre is just a 1 mile walk from Nottingham Train Station alternatively you can catch a tram into the city centre from the station. The convention is organised and run with families in mind, so we do ask exhibitors and visitors to be mindful that there will be children attending.Can Children attend the event alone?Children aged 10 and under need to be accompanied by an adult to be admitted to the event. We hold no responsibility for Children (aged 11 and over) who attend the event aloneDo I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?If you have purchased your tickets online we ask that wherever possible you bring a print out or an e-version on your mobile to make the entry process as simple as possible.If you purchase your ticket offline you will need to bring your ticket with you on the day.Will there be tickets available on the day of the event?Any tickets that are unsold prior to the event will be available for purchase on the day, these will be sold at a slightly higher price.What is the refund policy?Refunds on tickets can be requested up to 30 days before the event. All refund requests submitted before this time will be considered as received; organisers decision is final.  Refunds can only be requested through the eventbrite site.
