International Institute of Los Angeles (IILA) has played a prominent role in supporting new arrivals to Southern California with every major refugee and immigrant wave since our founding in 1914.

Today we offer immigration legal services, resettlement of refugees and asylum applicants, support for survivors of human trafficking, free or low-cost child care, and transportation assistance.

IILA Voices chronicles the journey of several of our clients, from their flight from danger, to immigrating here, to settling in Los Angeles.

Our Local Integration & Family Empowerment (LIFE) Division assists resilient people in restoring their freedom, dignity, and independence through comprehensive services and access to jobs, education, and health.

The Immigration Legal Services Division (ILSD) seeks justice for all immigrants by serving the immigrant community with programs that assist applicants to obtain relief under immigration laws.
