Dr. Varghese & his team were excellent. He answered every one of my questions as well as my wife's. Whenever we had a concern or question he or his team would answer our calls or messages. We live in Idaho so it was very important to have good communication with my surgeon. I highly recommend Dr Varghese & the excellent care I received at Huntsman's Cancer Institute.

I am concerned that a result on my xray was not discussed. I noticed it when I returned home and it was on my "my chart". Pleural effusion, so I am now concerned.......
I was shocked/concerned why adjuvant care would not be done following surgery by Dr. Puri, but will follow guidance.Dr. Varghese team is great, showed and explained anything I needed and asked.

My doctor took more time to show me images of my scans, explaining what I was looking at, why surgery was important, what the surgery entailed, and what I should expect than I thought was possible in this time of insurance-induced speed appointments. I left the appointment feeling sure that I made the right choice and was at the right facility. I've never had a doctor stop his explanation to give me time to take a picture of the white board he was using to explain aspects of my care!
The entire staff was concerned
I am an employee at HCH and recently I had to become a patient. I met with Dr. Varghese while inpatient and he was so nice, I feel like he really cares about me and my condition. Dr. Varghese is the kindest man I ever had the opportunity to know and the care he provided has been amazing. That care is a reflection of his PA's and RN as they are an amazing part of his team. I'm so proud to work at Huntsman and even prouder to say that I am a patient who has an amazing team doing AMAZING things not only for me but for others as well.

I was seen by both the physician and a PA. The PA was condescending and acted like a doctor want to be. My wife and I are both nurses and his tone and demeanor left much to be desired. Dr Varghese and his nurse were wonderful. the Dr. explained everything, had a sense of humor and was very reassuring.
