Steven Spielberg still giving me full body chills in the theater in 2026 what a time. There’s just so much that I loved in here first half felt like a political thriller from the 70s but once the sc-fi elements began to introduce it truly becomes a full fledged Spielberg film for better or for worse. I will say I was incredibly moved by the final act probably will stay with me for a long time.
Ryan Coogler free from the shackles of that company, and he makes a masterpiece MAN. Some of the best uses of IMAX I’ve ever seen with those aspect ratio changes seemed to always heighten the scenes it was used on. DREAM BIG.
The ambition and overconfidence of the young it’s off-putting and grating yet you can never look away it’s magnifying. Timothee bodies this role he walks the line of unbearable and captivating so well. This movie is frenetic quick scenes following the beat of its energetic soundtrack and the sport of table tennis (match scenes were incredible). Starts and ends in ways I never saw coming, loved every bit of this one of the best of the decade can’t wait to see it again.
