Toronto man charged after allegedly sexually assaulting girl he lured on Snapchat

Robinson was arrested by Toronto police and was charged with numerous offences including sexual assault with a weapon and exploitation.

A 21-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly luring an underage victim through Snapchat and sexually assaulting her.

Toronto police say the incident occurred on June 5 in the Bayview Avenue and Blythwood Road area.

The suspect contacted the victim on Snapchat using the username K_Charles55, investigators say.

The suspect then met the victim and allegedly sexually assaulted her.

Police said the alleged sexual assault was reported to them days later, on June 9.

Following an investigation, police arrested Kaden Charles-Robinson, 21, of Toronto.

He has been charged with multiple offences, including possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material, use of an imitation firearm during the commission of an indictable offence, extortion, sexual interference with a person under 16, making sexually explicit material available to a person under 16, and sexual assault with a weapon.
