Man in hospital after shooting in California neighborhood

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The Louisville Police Department is investigating after a an was shot in the California neighborhood Friday morning.

Officers responded to a reported shooting in the 2300 block of Hale Avenue just after 4:15 a.m. on June 12. They arrived to find a man with a gunshot wound.

He was taken to UofL Hospital and is expected to live.
