She remembered to be a main character.
only took her 2 years, 7 months, and 69 pages. sometimes its easy to forget we last saw her at the end of the prologue. not a bad thing though, webcomics that update a page at a time can tend to have pacing issues in the long run if story beats arent given their proper time, so honestly this is a breath of fresh air.

Yeah, just wish I could update faster, dang nab it.

By the way, thanks for the precise count. 69 pages, man.
i have like 7 webcomics i refresh daily to check for updates, so any particular one taking a while to update feels like a much shorter wait
Yo same 😂
7? A mere 7!? How utterly and disgustingly pathetic. I have 32 comics open at all times!
i bow down to you bingus

Believe me, you're doing fine. Talking from experience here.
Plus you can just read it all at once.
Love your comic!

It reminds me of “Endtown” which had a similar crisis, but was post-apocalyptic and a little meandering…

The use of color and style of the “Ferals” is insane though, please keep going!

Thanks a lot!

I'm trying; the only thing that might stop me (albeit momentarily, hopefully) is my current economic situation, which is not all too good.

I'm just glad people seem to like what little I managed to do in the little time I have. I hope I can be faster. And better.
Aaron’s divorce stress and health issues have been the primary cause of End Town’s delays. The mouse girl was dedicated to his now exwife, and he couldn’t bear to continue his original planned arc with her, but didn’t want her to just die either, so had to rewrite the outline so to let her go, but that all must have been very miserable work for him.
Hopefully, Fizzle won’t have any such additional issues on top of the usual webcomic stressors.
FizzleFroth
I don't. My only problems right now are economic.

Have you considered setting up a donation button?
Awww, despite the blood on her face, she looks really cute!

I genuinely wonder how the Reverend put together Abigail was a doctor; did he know her before, and recognise her, even as she is now? She was able to pass of the changes in her voice as "having the flu" to her son, so her voice must be altered but somewhat recognisable. Maybe she was talking in her sleep?

But no, the scene is set up with nun escorting him *to* Abigail, so he probably hasn't met her. Maybe there was a missing person alert with her name and description of her current appearance? But there has to be reports of dozens and hundreds of people in similar situations being sent around the city...

In addition to the very high quality lineart, lighting and colouring (I LOVE RESTRICTED COLOUR PALLETES I LOVE THEM SO MUCH) this comic has had a really interesting story thus far. Thank you for your hard work!
It’s quite possible to Abigail and the priest have a shared history ,she could have been a common attender of that church at one point. the fact that she chose it as the place to seek refuge in the midst of all the chaos may be evidence of this, which would ultimately explain why the priest would be able to recognize her even in her ALTERED state. Though I have to admit out of all the stories I’d expect Church to get involved in,the one involving people spontaneously mutating into monstrous and/or anthropomorphic animals would not have been one.
