About this project: My two favorite teenage pastimes were doodling in my notebook and ranting about politics to anyone who would listen, and when the political cartoonist at my old hometown's newspaper informed me that there was a way to combine them into something even more annoying, I fell in love and never looked back. I usually draw from a left-wing perspective...
...but nobody should be exempt from criticism. I try my best to take a consistent stand for human rights, and that means there are times when my own "side" deserves some ridicule too.
This has never made enough money to be a "real job," but with so many injustices out there that deserve attention, no other art form I've tried has ever felt as meaningful. My cartoons are also posted on Instagram, Bluesky, Cara, and unfortunately X.gov (The Everything App). If you like what you see, consider supporting me here on Patreon.
If you're not familiar with Patreon, it's basically a subscription-based crowdfunding platform: instead of making a single large donation, you pledge to pay a smaller amount per month, and your pledges will (hopefully) turn this into something professional, or at the very least, help pay for the art supplies and staggering amounts of coffee that make cartooning possible. I don't have a bunch of fancy rewards to offer (yet), but if you pledge $1 or more per month, you'll get to see new material a day early here on my activity feed and join the conversation in the replies. Anything helps, you can cancel whenever you want, and even if you don't agree with everything I draw (in fact, it would be a little weird if you did), at least we'll all have more to argue about!
