Heliostar aims to be a premier precious metals growth company; producing more than 500,000 ounce of gold per year by 2030. Building mines in the 100-250kozpa production space has been abdicated by the major mining companies. Gold deposits regularly grow larger, and working in this space is a proven pathway to building a multi-billion-dollar business."Charles Funk, CEO
Heliostar Metals is rapidly emerging as the next mid-tier gold producer, driven by a clear strategy and the core tenets of speed, grade, and growth. With two producing mines and four development-stage assets - led by the high-grade Ana Paula Project targeting 2028 production - the company is leveraging near-term cash flow into dilution-free expansion.
Heliostar has a strong pipeline of growth projects in Mexico. We are focused on expanding production from our two producing mines to generate additional cash flow to fund development of our flagship Ana Paula project.
Heliostar’s strategy is to become a leading precious metals growth company, targeting over 500,000 ounces of annual gold production by 2030.
Ana Paula is Heliostar’s flagship development project, which will add 101,000 oz of annual gold production starting in 2028 at the very low AISC of $1,011/oz. Acquired in 2023 from Argonaut Gold for US$10 million, the project benefits from over US$100 million in prior investment, including a permitted open pit project, 84-person camp, surface rights, portal, and a 412 m decline. Heliostar recent PEA focuses on the high-grade, bulk-tonnage underground core of the deposit, with a Feasibility Study underway to support a 1H 2027 construction decision. The project covers a largely underexplored 56,334-hectare land package.

The La Colorada Mine is an open-pit heap leach operation located 45 km southeast of Hermosillo, Sonora. The mine plan outlines growing production from three sequentially staged deposits—the Junkyard Stockpile, the Veta Madre pit expansion and the El Crestón pit expansion—targeting production of 286,000 ounces of gold over a 6-year mine life. The 10,085-hectare land package is largely unexplored outside of the mine area.
