The Sarah Huckabee Sanders gubernatorial campaign has raised more than $9.1 million, it announced Thursday.
That includes $4.2 million raised in the second quarter.
The total came from more than 67,000 individual donors, most from out of state, the campaign said. The $9.1 million raised breaks the record for the most money ever raised by a campaign for governor in Arkansas, according to a press release.
Of the total, roughly 9,000 Arkansans donated more than $3 million, the campaign reported.
“I am thankful for the outpouring of support from all across our state,” Sanders said in a statement. “It’s clear Arkansans want a leader who will defend our freedom and stand up to the radical left, grow our economy and create jobs, and increase access to quality education and opportunity for a brighter, more prosperous future.”
