As VP of Music at Los Angeles-based entertainment agency\u00a0MOCEAN<\/em><\/strong>,\u00a0<\/em>Sanaz Lavaedianhas never had a doubt in her mind that music supervision is exactly where she wants to be.<\/p>\n

\n

An LA native, Sanaz has always been fascinated by the relationship between music and visual media; particularly the make-or-break role that a song can have on a movie trailer.\u00a0.So it was only natural that upon graduating from UCLA, Sanaz set out to pursue music supervision for film, television, and theatrical marketing.<\/p>\n

Her journey began as a music coordinator at\u00a0SynchroniCity<\/em><\/strong>, and from there, she soon moved on to join\u00a0Reel Music<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0under the direction of Robin Urdang. Urdang became a true mentor to Sanaz, guiding her through notable projects such as ABC\u2019s\u00a0Brothers & Sisters<\/em><\/strong>, FOX\u2019s\u00a0The Good Guys<\/em><\/strong>, USA\u2019s\u00a0Burn Notice<\/em><\/strong>,\u00a0Rabbit Hole<\/em><\/strong>,\u00a0Pirahna 3D<\/em><\/strong>,\u00a0L!fe Happens<\/em><\/strong>,\u00a0The Oranges<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0and 2011\u2019s critically acclaimed indie hit\u00a0Beginners<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In 2010, when Sanaz met music supervisor and DJ extraordinaire Patrick Belton, there was instant chemistry. The two knew that with their shared passion for music in media, together they could create something unique. With that,\u00a0Off The Record Music Supervision<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0was formed, where Sanaz and Patrick would go on to supervise several major films.<\/p>\n

At\u00a0MOCEAN<\/em><\/strong>, Sanaz has had the privilege to oversee music for major theatrical campaigns (including\u00a0Mad Max<\/em>,\u00a0Avengers<\/em>,\u00a0Guardians of the Galaxy<\/em>,\u00a0Deadpool<\/em>,The Shape of Water and thousands of others<\/em>) in addition to serving the agency\u2019s broadcast, TV\/streaming, home entertainment, and consumer branding divisions.<\/p>\n

If you ask her what she\u2019s most excited about for the future, she\u2019ll tell you with a sly smile, \u201cI\u2019d LOVE to share with you, but I\u2019m under a strict NDA\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Sync Music Listening Sessions connect and your music to a top music supervisor who will listen to your music, give you invaluable feedback and connect with you on a personal level.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Sync Music Listening Sessions are strictly limited to 30 participants, so every single person gets one song of their music listened to, evaluated and shared with the people working on some of the top projects in TV, film, video games, trailers apps, ads, brands, and the Internet.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll be able to ask questions, and all playlists from the songs played in the session are archived and shared on the Sync Summit Listening Sessions website.<\/p>\n

The cost for taking part in this Listening Session is $150 and includes the session, listing in the Session playlist and access to all session video archives.<\/p>\n
