baSE is a project which aims to develop a European strategy to address skills mismatches and provide new skills particularly in the digital and green areas regarding occupational profiles in the Social Economy and Proximity sector.\u00a0 To achieve this, the project gathers 25 partners in a wide and multistakeholder\u00a0 European consortium.<\/p>

The aim of the project is to develop and test a conceptual framework\u00a0 (blueprint \u2013 named \u201cSocial Economy Skills Strategy\u201d) that will make vocational training successful in addressing the up- and re-skilling processes of working age people and address the proximity and social economy needs (primarily both competitiveness and social purpose needs).<\/p>

This \u201cSocial Economy Skills Strategy\u201d approach should:<\/h3>
  • Enable to strengthen Social Economy Enterprises resilience and fast response by helping them to address digital and sustainable transformation.<\/li>
  • Be able to develop tailored and alternative solutions that are applicable and unique to proximity and social economy enterprises.<\/li>
  • Develop regional level collaborative ecosystems (\u201cAlliances\u201d).<\/li>
  • Be scalable in different European regions<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

    During its 48-month lifetime, baSE is expected to:<\/strong><\/h3>
    • Create innovative and modernized curricula in the SE sector in several EU Countries<\/li>
    • Improve employability, mobility and professional development for those benefiting from the new curricula<\/li>
    • Strengthen entrepreneurship, management and digital skills of professionals in the SE sector<\/li>
    • Improve professionalism, capacity and competitiveness of SE workers<\/li>
    • Modernize VET by being more responsive to industry needs<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

      baSE<\/b> in a nutshell<\/span>:<\/h3>
      • 10 National and 1 Transnational Synthesis Reports <\/b>presenting the current state of Social Economy sector in each country, the specific skills demand and training offers on SE as well as the results of an online survey regarding skills gap analysis in Social Economy<\/span><\/li>
      • Development of the<\/span> SocioComp Competence Framework<\/b> which will define competence areas, competences, learning outcomes and levels of proficiency for the SE sector<\/span><\/li>
      • Development of<\/span> 2 Occupational Profiles <\/b>for the Social Economy Sector<\/span><\/li>
      • Development of <\/span>Training curricula<\/b> adapted to countries\u2019 specific context included in a<\/span> MOOC platform<\/b><\/li>
      • 10 pilot implementations,<\/b> one in each partner country, reaching<\/span> 1,200 people<\/b> in total<\/span><\/li>
      • Round tables<\/b><\/li>
