Roma Plus project\u2019s aim is to train and reduce the drop-out rates of Adult (low-literate) Roma, while enhancing the skills and competences of adult Trainers\/Teachers in the use of modern adult training techniques, tailored to the Roma cultural background.<\/span><\/p>\n

The primary objective is going to be achieved through the development of:<\/b><\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Open educational resources (OER) for educators working with adult Roma with low literacy, to enhance their relevant competences<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Peer learning material that will target low skilled adult Roma, creating a learning experience that will increase their literacy level.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    During its 24-month lifetime, Roma Plus will positively impact:<\/b><\/h3>\n

    At least 60 <\/span>Adult Roma<\/b> having their literacy skills increased<\/span><\/p>\n

    At least 100 <\/span>Roma learners<\/b> benefiting from their participation in the Massive Open Online Courses (MooC) platform<\/span><\/p>\n

    At least 3 <\/span>Roma Representatives and associations<\/b> acting as \u201cambassadors\u201d to spread the word and sensitise others<\/span><\/p>\n

    At least10 <\/span>Adult Trainers\/Teachers<\/b> having their capacity built<\/span><\/p>\n

    At least 9 participants with fewer opportunities that are going to be guided and supported by the adult teaching\/training procedure of Roma Plus<\/span><\/p>\n

    At least 6 <\/span>Grass-root NGOs and relevant stakeholders <\/b>equipped with new skills, knowledge and resources able to better help Roma people<\/span><\/p>\n
