Since Lifetime Products’ beginning in 1986, the company has focused on building products that last decades. This is the basis of Lifetime’s global citizenship. Designing and manufacturing quality products that last is the first step in responsible usage of the earth’s resources. In 2015, the United Nations General Assembly established 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These goals, also called global goals, are a collection of 17 interlinked global objectives designed to be a “shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future.”
Lifetime specifically focuses on six of these SDGs which are most applicable to company processes: Goal 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation; Goal 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy; Goal 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth; Goal 9 – Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure; Goal 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production; and Goal 13 – Climate Action. Each of these goals helps Lifetime with its mission to be an exceptional global citizen and to help the environment.
“At Lifetime, sustainability isn’t just a goal—it’s a responsibility we take seriously in everything we do. From the materials we choose to the processes we implement, we’re dedicated to creating durable, high-quality products that stand the test of time while minimizing our environmental footprint. We believe that the choices we make today should not only benefit our customers but also protect and preserve the planet for future generations. Together, we’re building a legacy of innovation, responsibility, and care for a better tomorrow.”
