There are two options for your tarot reading: THE EMPRESS tarot reading or THE HIGH PRIESTESS tarot reading:

THE EMPRESS tarot reading is to answer 3 questions. Tarot can be quite specific, so multiple choice questions are fine. Plan a half hour for your Empress reading.

THE HIGH PRIESTESS is an in-depth tarot reading. It includes your 3 questions, the large Woven Spread layout, a Medicine card for guidance from animals, and an Angel card for an affirmation. Plan one hour for your High Priestess tarot reading.

YOUR TAROT QUESTIONS

For your EMPRESS tarot reading, your 3 questions can be on any topics that are important to you. The most-asked question is about relationship dynamics. Tarot is an excellent tool to shed light on questions concerning relationships of all kinds. The pictures on the cards tell how and why we interact with others. Another popular question is about career choices. The third question can be about health, or the best place to live, one’s spiritual path, or whatever arises for you to be answered or examined. Recommended for whenever you are at a crossroads, or have choices to make but can use some guidance.

For your HIGH PRIESTESS tarot reading, your 3 questions are answered. Then the Woven Spread layout shows the bigger picture over time, and I look for repeating cards. What repeats is most important. The Medicine card indicates wisdom from the animal realms that indicate the animal spirit or totem animal that can guide you at the time of your reading. An Angel card is for inspiration, and the word to repeat as your affirmation. Recommended on your birthday, the New Year, or when it is time for clarity with both immediate questions answered and the big picture for future planning.

Class text is my book Introduction to Tarot. If you have tarot cards, bring them to your class.

If you don’t have cards, purchase The Complete Tarot Kit that includes the book Introduction to Tarot plus two tarot decks.

In the first class you will learn:

The structure of tarot
Your soul card and signifier card
How to identify the 22 major arcana, 40 minor arcana, and 16 court cards
How to shuffle and cut the cards
How to do a three card spread
