Over in my journal I've written up a brief summary of about the struggles of Háafell, Iceland's only commercial goat farm and home to approximately half of the world's Icelandic Goats. Right now the farm is in danger of foreclosure and if that happens all the goats will be put to slaughter.

I figure we've all got a soft spot in our hearts for Frank, maybe we could help these cute fellows.

I was hoping to get a screencap of 5000 points for my next milestones for about two years. Sadly, even if I was careful not to answer too many requests in the past weeks, a 10 points request closed today making me go over the cool number I wanted. I think it's still a great number, it mirror itself :)

Hi guys. I just wanted to stop by and say hi, for those of you you remember me, I was jennielynn1127, and for those who don't, hi anyway. :)

I cleaned out my journal (again), and I hope to keep up with it this time with more purpose. I'm not sure how much time I may spend in support, but I saw some familiar faces, so I thought I should say hey.

How did you find LJ Support? Favourite request or memory? Want to say something about another volunteer/Support people that wouldn't fit in the lj_s comm?

- Does anyone know if support will also be affected, especially when it comes to "modifications to existing features"?
- There is a lot of negative feedback coming from users regarding most recent site changes and the communication between LiveJournal and its userbase is seriously in the shit. Any chance the announced changes will address this problem as well?
- Also, I just joined lj_pics_beta which offers a glimpse at the new scrapbook, and was wondering if there are other journals you can join to see/test features in beta (or if there are other ways to take part in this kind of thing).

Edit, 20th May 2012: A lot of time has passed since this entry was written, so let me add a small update.
Regarding communication coming from LiveJournal: I was very impressed with the last three news entries, and from the comments you can certainly see that the userbase was too. So yeah, communication was "in the shit", but seems to be improving. (I very much hope that whoever wrote these last entries will continue doing it, and that the news comm will stay informative and professional instead of acting like a "fun" comm.)

Regarding the beta testing comm it didn't turn out quite as expected. I added a comment here, even though it likely won't change anything.

And since coffeechica already added the info in a comment to this very entry: Unfortunately the support board will not be affected by the upcoming changes.

... I finally did it, guys. ;) I've had the music for this sitting on my HD for years but I hadn't ever really had a chance to record the vocals. I figured I'd better get around to it before another 5 years pass. They aren't polished by any means, but hey, it's done, finally.

For those of you who are new(er) -- this project kind of grew out of a few snippet bits that I wrote prompted one Halloween Support Trick-or-Treat many, many years ago (I think it was 2005? >___>). Two snippets ended up being turned into full songs -- dawna's prompt became "Error Approving Schools", and jheya's became "Stock Answers". "Remember" was written on the occasion of kamara stepping down as Styles Systems administrator. :( "Blinkie's Lullaby" was written for my own stepping down years later.

Let me know what you think!
