Tags are completely configurable for accounts in Towbook! While available for all accounts, tags specifically support several of our Private Property account type functions – offering a simple way to track property violations and organize patrol operations.
Creating a Custom Tag
Follow these steps to add a new tag:
- Navigate to the Settings tab in the web app.
- Select Property Management.
- Click Add a Tag.
- Enter the tag details and save.
You can create as many tags as your company may need. Because they will need to be enabled at the account level to be used, your list here can be as long as you need to be!
Enabling Tags for a Private Property Account
To enable tags on a specific account:
- Open the Accounts tab.
- Select the private property account you want to modify.
- Click Modify.
- Choose Tags and select the ones you want to enable for the account.
- Save your changes.
Tags will only be shown/leveraged when enabled, which allows you to tailor them very precisely to optimize efficiency.
Mobile Map View for Private Properties
Mobile app platforms include a map view for private property accounts! This feature allows drivers to:
- View all private properties on a map.
- Filter properties by tag.
- Patrol properties efficiently using the tagged information.
This map will only display accounts with a valid address, giving you the clearest picture of private properties that your company manages.
