Acknowledge Completion is a feature built to encourage better efficiency for your company.
This feature is able to be activated by going to Settings, then Dispatching, then Custom FieldsĀ and check “Keep Completed Calls in current list until Acknowledged”.
You will want to have all users log out and back in once you have turned this on. Turning this on will not alter the current process for drivers to complete calls.
They will continue to clear their calls as they have been and be able to continue with their workload. Where the process changes are for the dispatchers and managers within your company. Once a driver “completes” a call, the call status color will change to white and within the expanded view of the call there will be an option to “Acknowledge Completion”.
The history of the call will display the driver completing the call as well as a request for the call to be acknowledged as completed. Once a dispatcher or a manager acknowledges this, it will also display that this has been confirmed.
