HOW TO: Install EzParts5

Instructions:

Run EzParts 5.0 Electronic Parts Catalog Software installation file from the EzParts Electronic Parts Catalog Software DVD. Click Next on the Welcome screen.
On the Application License Agreement step of the EzParts Electronic Parts Catalog Software installation, agree to the terms of the license agreement. Click Next.
On the Database License Agreement step of the EzParts Electronic Parts Catalog Software installation, agree to the terms of the license agreement. Click Next.
On the Installation Mode step of the EzParts Electronic Parts Catalog Software install wizard select the type of the EzParts 5.0 installation (See below for more information about different installation modes)
Click Next to continue.

Simple Installation - This option installs the EzParts Electronic Parts Catalog Software application and manufacturer database (in to EZPARTS5 instance of SQL Server) for use on the local machine. If manufacturer database is already installed on this machine, installation wizard will suggest replacing or leaving database unchanged.

Select this option if:

you are installing EzParts Electronic Parts Catalog Software for the first time.
you would like both EzParts Electronic Parts Catalog Software application and manufacturer database to be installed on a current machine.

Advanced Installation - Depending on your choice this option installs either both EzParts 5.0 Electronic Parts Catalog Software application and database, application only or database only on the current machine.

Select this option if:

you would like to choose the EzParts Electronic Parts Catalog Software components to be installed (either both application and database, application only or database only).
you already have MSSQL Server 2005 or MSSQL Server 2008 or newer installed on the current machine and would like to install the EzParts Electronic Parts Catalog Software manufacturer database to the desired instance of SQL Server (not the default EZPARTS5 instance).
