How to Configure Google Pay
Google Pay™ is a fast, simple, and secure way for customers to pay online using the using cards saved to their Google Account. When Google Pay is enabled on your checkout, customers can complete their purchases in just a few taps using any credit or debit card connected to their Google account.
All merchants must comply with the Google Pay APIs Acceptable Use Policy and accept the Google Pay API Terms of Service in the customer portal to enable Google Pay.
Enabling Google Pay for your Account

- Log in to your Sokin customer portal via SokinB2B.
- Navigate to Settings → Sokin Pay Configuration → Payment Methods → Google Pay.
- Toggle the Enable Google Pay switch and accept the terms and conditions.
- Once enabled, the Google Pay button will automatically appear on the hosted checkout page for your customers.
How Google Pay works on Hosted Checkout
When a customer selects Google Pay at checkout:
- They are redirected to the Sokin hosted payment page.
- Google Pay handles authentication and payment authorisation.
- Sokin securely processes the payment and returns the confirmation to the Sokin customer portal.
