For these situations, the HRV application supports analysis of an IBI series directly.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Select analysis version to view the applicable content:<\/em> <\/strong><select class='consel_dropdown consel_name_app'>\n<option value='app_none'>Choose...<\/option>\n<option value='app_three_two'>3.2<\/option>\n<option value='app_three_one'>3.1<\/option>\n<\/select><\/p>\n<span class=\"consel_content consel_name_app consel_sel_app_three_one\">\n<p>The file containing the IBI series must meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The IBI series must be separated in tab-delimited columns, with each column representing a time segment<\/li>\n<li>Each column must be equal in duration (i.e. each column represents 60 seconds of IBI&#8217;s). <em>Note that this does not mean each column must contain the same number of data points, as the number of IBI&#8217;s which occur during a given time period can and will vary.)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>The first 2 entries in the first column contain special values:\n<ul>\n<li>Sample Rate &#8211; The rate (in samples per second) at which the data was recorded<\/li>\n<li>Column Duration\u00a0&#8211; The segment time represented in each column<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/support.mindwaretech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/IBI-smaller.png\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-901\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-901 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/support.mindwaretech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/IBI-smaller.png\" alt=\"IBI smaller\" width=\"514\" height=\"462\" srcset=\"https:\/\/support.mindwaretech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/IBI-smaller.png 514w, https:\/\/support.mindwaretech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/IBI-smaller-300x270.png 300w, https:\/\/support.mindwaretech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/IBI-smaller-50x45.png 50w, https:\/\/support.mindwaretech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/IBI-smaller-320x288.png 320w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 514px) 100vw, 514px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Analyzing an IBI file results in the following limitations:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Segment Time\u00a0cannot be modified from the column\u00a0duration\u00a0found in the IBI file<\/li>\n<li>Editing will be unavailable<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/span>\n<span class=\"consel_content consel_name_app consel_sel_app_three_two\">\n<p>Open the IBI file the same way you would open a different type of data file, and follow the <a href=\"https:\/\/support.mindwaretech.com\/manuals\/software\/hrv\/3-2\/#ibi-import-wizard\">instructions listed here<\/a> for the IBI Import Wizard to properly load your specific IBI file.<\/p>\n<p>When analyzing the IBI data, the timing of each beat will be presented as a peak with an amplitude of 1 volt.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/support.mindwaretech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IBI-Analysis.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4881\" src=\"https:\/\/support.mindwaretech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IBI-Analysis.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"707\" height=\"435\" srcset=\"https:\/\/support.mindwaretech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IBI-Analysis.png 707w, https:\/\/support.mindwaretech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IBI-Analysis-300x185.png 300w, https:\/\/support.mindwaretech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IBI-Analysis-50x31.png 50w, https:\/\/support.mindwaretech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IBI-Analysis-600x369.png 600w, https:\/\/support.mindwaretech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IBI-Analysis-320x197.png 320w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 707px) 100vw, 707px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Manual Override<\/strong> peak detection is enabled by default with IBI files and set to a <strong>Threshold<\/strong> of 0.75 volts to ensure all of these peaks are detected.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/support.mindwaretech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Manual-Override-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4882\" src=\"https:\/\/support.mindwaretech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Manual-Override-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"313\" height=\"193\" srcset=\"https:\/\/support.mindwaretech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Manual-Override-1.png 313w, https:\/\/support.mindwaretech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Manual-Override-1-300x185.png 300w, https:\/\/support.mindwaretech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Manual-Override-1-50x31.png 50w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 313px) 100vw, 313px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>All analysis tools, including the Signal Editor, can be used with the IBI series in the same way that they are used when an ECG signal is loaded.<\/p>\n<\/span>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Many low power and\/or ambulatory data collection devices output a derived IBI series rather than the ECG waveform itself.
