Find and fix rejected creatives

After a creative is reviewed, you can find its status in the Creative status tab and in the "DV360 status" and "Exchange status" columns within your advertiser's list of creatives.

There are a few ways that you can fix a disapproved creative depending on the changes needed:

  • If your creative is rejected due to issues such as unacceptable video format or improper content, you can edit the creative in Display & Video 360 to address the problem. Learn how to fix creative content issues.
  • If your creative is rejected due to landing page problems such as uncrawlable destination, malicious software, or non-SSL compliance, you can either use a different, compliant landing page or work with your webmaster to fix the issues on the current landing page. After fixing the issue, resubmit the creative for approval.
  • If your creative is rejected and you believe it's an error, or if a policy restriction is applied that you disagree with, you can dispute the decision within Display & Video 360. An appeal may lead to a manual review and approval.
  • For rejections related to Campaign Manager 360 integration such as invalid tag, or destination mismatch due to inactive placements or incorrect flight dates, verify your settings in Campaign Manager 360. Ensure placements are active, flight dates are current, and tags are correctly configured. After making necessary corrections in Campaign Manager 360, you may need to re-upload the tracker in Display & Video 360 or make a nominal change to the creative in Display & Video 360 to trigger a new review.
