Gnarly Canadian Trail Alert
I said “NOPE!” more than a few times watching this video. It starts out so chill, and by the end, you’re just holding your breath. Shoutout to people who build and ride trails like this, I don’t think I will ever be this gnarly on two wheels. There needs to be a classification above Double Black Diamond…maybe just like “Canadian” and “Double Canadian”?
Camera Work Masterclass
Whoever filmed this…absolutely killed it! The follow cam, cable cams and POV from this video stand out in exactly the way I think it was intended. It feels like you’re there, riding along, and this is the kind of stuff that gets me fired up to ride! Oh yeah, and Dillon Butcher has incredible style on the bike. No notes!
Session Culture
This is one of those sit back and watch edits, the vibe is right and the editing is good. If you’re in the mood for an all-killer, no-filler style video, the previous two are better for that. But this one is a fun vibe. It made me think sort of nostalgic for those summers when all I was doing was riding with friends (and also made me wonder how I can do more of that again). Kick back and enjoy this one!

Can’t Trackstand? Here’s Why.
If you’ve been trying to learn how to balance your bike in place, this is my best method with multiple practice drills to help you learn the trackstand as quickly and efficiently as possible. Most people get this skill wrong, thinking that it requires either a static hold or a side-to-side movement, when it’s really a back-and-forth movement to keep the bike balanced. If you practice the drills in this video, you’ll have perfect bike balance in no time!
