Why Choose Our Learning Differences Subscriptions?

SuperDville was created by a specialized team of psychologists and educators to specifically address the unique social-emotional needs of children with dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning differences. Our goal is to foster resilience, confidence, and self-awareness in learners who often struggle in traditional settings.

Led by experts such Dr. Melissa Orkin (Tufts/ Harvard), Dr. Gina Riley, Hunter College School of Education and Dr. Maryanne Wolf (UCLA), our learning differences subscriptions use relatable, live-action storytelling to provide children with mirrors of their own experiences, proving that they are not alone and that their brains are capable of amazing things.

Have questions about our learning differences subscriptions?
Here are the most common ones from parents.

What ages is SuperDville designed for?
SuperDville is designed for children aged 7–13 years old. Our content addresses the emotional and social challenges that elementary and middle school students with learning differences commonly face — including building confidence, managing frustration, developing friendships, and understanding their unique learning profiles.
Does SuperDville help with dyslexia specifically?
Yes! SuperDville was originally developed with input from researchers Dr. Melissa Orkin and Dr. Maryanne Wolf at the Center for Reading and Language Research, Tufts University.

Our program features characters with dyslexia and other learning differences, and our activities focus on building the confidence and resilience that children with dyslexia need to thrive academically and socially. All written materials use dyslexia-friendly fonts and design principles.
How does my child use SuperDville at home?
Each SuperDville session takes about 20–30 minutes. Your child watches a 5-minute video episode, then you discuss the episode together using our parent guide prompts (10 minutes), and finally complete a hands-on activity that reinforces the emotional skill (10–20 minutes). No teaching background or special training is required — everything is designed for busy families to use together.
Can I use SuperDville if my child doesn't have a diagnosed learning difference?
Absolutely! While our learning differences subscriptions were designed specifically for kids with dyslexia and ADHD, the emotional skill-building content benefits all children. Many families use SuperDville to support struggling learners, build sibling understanding, or simply to develop emotional intelligence and resilience in any child.
Do I need a teaching background to use it?
Not at all. Everything is designed for busy families to use together. Parent guides include conversation starters and step-by-step activity instructions — no training or special preparation required.
What emotional skills does SuperDville teach?
SuperDville's program is aligned with CASEL's social-emotional learning framework and focuses on building confidence, resilience, self-awareness, belonging, emotional regulation, and responsible decision-making. Each episode and activity targets specific skills that help children with learning differences thrive both academically and socially.
