Illusion

Illusion.
What do you see in this Reality?
Do not your eyes view what is real to see?
Can you not touch the tangible fusion?
Or do we gaze into the ethers of illusion,
What trickery mocks us as we take in the lies
Binding our thoughts in roots of indoctrination
Following the herd, bleating like sheep
Held captive, half asleep.
What happened to the land of the Free?
Conform or suffer, or pay the penalty
What is your reality?
Come, let me walk you through the misty vale.
To where this illusion significantly pales
We are magnificent magicians whose thoughts cast their magic
Where all is possible, where to doubt is tragic
Seek and Find, let go of fear
Dance in joy as Light penetrates your sphere
For you have forgotten our Time’s lost spell
As into the abyss of darkness you dwell.
Open your eyes and open your hearts.
Let the Light dispel all dark
Fear nothing, hate less, and embrace ALL
Seek a new illusion before you fall.
Stop following blindly, grasp hold of Love today
Remember your tomorrows, forget your yesterdays
Reach for the memory held high up in the stars
And heal from within, let go of all your scars
Sit in the silence; begin to know who you are
As illusion drifts away revealing Ancient Stars
Your time is but a moment, live each moment well,
For soon the illusion shatters, broken like a spell.

Caring At A Price.

Caring At a Price.
Most of my friends here will understand that I try to stay positive on what most of life throws out. But during these times of ‘Cut-backs’ due to over spending of our Governments and bailing out our Bankers who still pay themselves huge rewards for mismanaging taxpayers monies in a corrupt monetary system even we knew that it couldn’t go on forever by printing money to get us out of the red..
I don’t mind paying my Taxes, having worked most of my life except for 5 yrs when my children were small, and even then I worked from home..
And I don’t mind tightening my belt along with the rest of us, or having to work till I’m 65, or paying 20% VAT extra on all Goods, or paying the hidden ‘Green’ Tax or my Road Tax, or the extortionate Tax Duty on our Fuel here in the UK.. and the list could go on and on and on..
But what I do object to Very strongly is when these ‘Cuts’ affect those who have no Voice to speak out for themselves. Those who are vulnerable Adults. Those whom I care for. Those with Learning Disabilities
I care when local authorities cut their Care Packages at the stroke because it’s cheaper to give them less hours of support, so they can cut staffing costs down..
I care when after nearly 10yrs of supporting these adults who have learning difficulties, whom have been brought out of residential care in pioneering Support Schemes to live as you or I do within our communities a more independent life.
Whereby they have been able to shape their own lives with informed choices and decision making in ordinary homes with their friends with our day to day support. When at the stroke of someone’s pen they can be shipped back into residential care homes, parted from their friends, refused Day Care Services, our support and plummeted back to Residential type living. And there is nothing we can do about it.
I do not care that will Iwill no longer be employed by early 2011, I’ve faced redundancy twice before and each time I bounced back higher..
But these people will not bounce back.. When they were first integrated to live within the community some didn’t even know how to communicate as the calming drugs they’d been on had kept them like zombies. But over time and patience and less drugs, we saw their individual personalities come back to the fore. as they learnt how to cook, clean, and enjoy life as you or I. And yes on a bad day some still can have challenging behaviours, but then I know many people in many walks of life who have bad days and throw their own tantrums. How else can some of these people with learning difficulties tell us how they are feeling?
Last week I went to a meeting which informed us of our Cutbacks and our future.
When I challenged my Boss’s where was our services users choices in all of this? I was told “ Forget the word Choice”.. They have no choice, this is about Profit and Spending Cuts..
That night I cried, not for me, I know I’ll be fine, but I cried for those who I care for, and what will happen to their future..
and I cried for a world where Caring comes at a Price..
Where Profit comes before people.
And I cried for a World that has lost its way.

Our Journeys End.
20 Oct 2010 5 Comments

I Sometimes feel like we ought to know more about who we are or how to live. We may even chastise ourselves for making the same mistakes. But without those mistakes we would never learn or grow. And that is why we are here, our being born is that we are here to observe, learn, and grow.
Accompanying this is a built-in guarantee that there will be mistakes along the way. And while it is only natural that we may sometimes become overwhelmed, especially when the lessons keep coming, it is important to remember to be gentle with yourself too..
I know I all too often blame myself, and feel guilt and remorse over a harsh word or jibe but I have to remember we are all human, here for the human experience of learning along the way.. Some lessons are harsh and hard, while others can be joyful and enlightening.. But learning to understand yourself and your world is an ongoing and active process where the journey is all important as we head for that final destination.
I gave a talk this weekend to around 35 people at a Centre I attend, and I asked them what had they packed in their suitcases for their greatest journey? Some looked a little perplexed.. As I said well now when you go on holiday you pack your tooth-brush, clothes and bathing costume don’t you?.. and I got a few nods..
And then I asked them, ‘what do we take with us on that ultimate journey when we cross over the divide into the next realm of existence?’ Some said ‘nothing’, ‘we come in with nothing and we go out with nothing’..
‘Arrh’ I said, ‘that is where you are wrong, For we take with us our Good intent, we take with us our love, our memories, our kindness our compassion.. or we take with us the bitterness, anger, hate and loneliness.. it’s up to us what we pack within our hearts and souls as to what we take with us..’
And I told them a story.. One I have told here before.. but one I will share again… Just click the link below I wrote this in 2008..A True Story!…

Poem: Light And Dark.

Light and Dark.
Trapped in a world between Light and Dark
My thoughts drift backwards when we were but a Spark
When all were united, when all was free
And I was you and you were me.
I drift forward to a moment of pleasure with no pain
A timeless seam of rapture with no more distain.
The clock ticks her seconds as the years pass us by
Yet trapped are we, within a world of lies
Hallowed be thy Father no longer rules the world
And temptation leads us further as wickedness unfurls
Forgiveness for trespassing the rights to own our minds
Our Will no longer free conforming as Man-Kind
When will I be Free to liberate my oath?
To tare down resentment and raise my flag of truth?
And follow no other than the banner of my Light
And end the mindless destruction of endless bitter fights
Where Nations pitch their battles to destroy and then proclaim
A land of many riches they pillage, kill and maim
Tell me though who suffers? Trapped beneath the layers
I’m asking you my brothers to hear my empty prayers.
Who listens to my words? As I send them out as thought
As I listen for that echo that rebounds a silent nought.
I search deep within as the answers shout on back
That conscious Spark is me, for I’m the way I lack.
The courage is within to change the Light and Dark
And remember we are ALL Divine living Sparks

You saw the following message when logging into a Windows Live product:
Your account has been temporarily blocked
Why are you seeing this?
Someone may have used your account to send out a lot of junk messages or done something else that violates the Windows Live Code of Conduct.
What do these messages mean?
When an account is sending a lot of e-mail, friend invitations, or posting lots of comments, there is a good chance that it is a spammer. In some cases, spammers actually create accounts to use, but sometimes they break in to real accounts. We block accounts so that the spammers can’t send out any more junk and so that real people can get their accounts back. Blocked accounts have very limited access to Hotmail and Windows Live. Our goal is to help the real account owner get their account back.
What should you do?
Verify your account with a mobile number (only available in limited markets at this time): http://g.live.com/1rewlive4tup/tupp.
If you are unable to verify using the SMS validation, please submit your request here and one of our moderators will help you.
Here are some steps that you can take to avoid getting this error:
- Do not give out your passwords to people. Hotmail, Windows Live, and Microsoft will never ask for your password in e-mail
- Make sure that you have an anti-virus program installed and run it regularly. Many spammers get a hold of passwords through viruses and spyware. Microsoft Security Essentials offers free anti-virus protection.
- If you use Windows, turning on Windows Update will help keep your computer up-to-date and make it less vulnerable to viruses.
• Windows 7. Learn how to turn on automatic updating.
• Windows Vista. Learn how to turn on automatic updating.
• Windows XP. To learn how to turn on automatic updates, click the Start button, click Help and Support, type Windows update in the search box, and then, in the list of results, click Turn on automatic updates. Follow the instructions.
- Check to make sure that you only send messages to people who want to receive them.
- Reduce the number of messages that you send to large groups of people so that they are less likely to think your messages are unwanted mail.
- Limit the number of chain letters, e-mail jokes and other messages that you send to help people recognize your mail as wanted and to make it more likely that your message will be allowed past your recipients’ junk mail filters.
- Limit the number of friend invitations you send or send them only to people that know you.
- Check all the contacts in your address book to make sure that the accounts are still active.
