Why use a coordinate navigator instead of a full spoiler map?

No in-game map workflow

Start from your actual position

Paste your raw XYZ values, pick a resource, and compare the nearest candidates from where you are now instead of scanning a giant map.

Spoiler-light help

Get the route signal, not every secret

Results focus on distance, bearing, depth, confidence, and resource notes. Creature and story spoilers stay limited unless they affect practical route safety.

Early Access aware

Build-pinned candidate data

Subnautica 2 locations can change during Early Access. Each row keeps an EA build, confidence label, and report link so stale coordinates can be retired instead of silently misleading players.

Frequently asked questions

How big is the Subnautica 2 map right now?
There is no official square-kilometre figure yet. The current Early Access map is a moving playable slice with several named biomes, deep vertical routes, and a border reported on the north and east edges. See the map size tracker for what is known and how to measure any route yourself.
What is the Subnautica 2 map border and the "boundary leviathan"?
The map border is a warning line, not a wall, with confirmed edges on the north and east. Stay inside and you are safe; cross it and the Shiver Leviathan — the creature players call the "boundary" or "Void Leviathan" — kills you fast. The map border page covers the edges and how to scan it.
Is this a complete Subnautica 2 map?
No. This is a fan-made Early Access resource navigator, not an official or complete world map. The current seed dataset is intentionally small, build-pinned, and marked for ongoing verification as new evidence and patches arrive.
Where do I read my XYZ coordinates from?
If your build exposes raw XYZ values, paste the three numbers into the Navigator and pick the resource you want. The current calibration treats raw X as east/west, raw Y as north/south, and raw Z as depth; report a mismatch if your HUD behaves differently.
What does the confidence level mean?
Every location candidate is rated C1 to C5. C5 is reserved for current-build in-game evidence from multiple players, C4 for cross-checked sources, C3 for a plausible single report, C2 for unconfirmed submissions, and C1 for stale or conflicting rows.
My EA build is different from yours — does this still work?
Subnautica 2 is in Early Access and locations may shift between builds. Each result shows the build/date attached to that coordinate candidate. If you spot a missing or moved node, please use the Report Wrong Location link.
Do you save my coordinates anywhere?
Your inputs stay in your browser via localStorage so the tool remembers them next visit. We do not transmit coordinates to any server. Page-view and tool-use analytics never include your raw XYZ values.

Map data status

All coordinate candidates currently shown are tagged against EA build Hotfix 2 / 23357846, last reviewed on 2026-05-24. Older builds may differ — each result shows the build it was last seen on. We rebuild this list manually after every official EA patch and before promoting seed rows into higher-confidence rows.
