As a department within the Division of Student Affairs, through collaboration with colleagues across the university, and in support of all students at OSU, our philosophy is clear:
The Office of the Dean of Students is dedicated to providing educational and developmental opportunities that help students make informed decisions that support their success at Oregon State University.
The Office of the Dean of Students supports students in the resolution of problems and concerns, provides information about and referrals to campus resources, and promotes initiatives that address students' needs and interests.
OSU has adopted these Requirements for Recognition of a Student Government to codify the primacy of student involvement in shared governance at the University.
The university offers a number of election resources and support services for students and other community members as they consider ways to participate in political civic engagement.
