Contentment and Peace of mind
What are the most important things needed to live a good life?
I will divide it into 2 parts
1) First I will talk about materialistic things. Ofcourse we need money to pay for our education, our bills and buy things which make our life comfortable. However, there is no end to the list which money can buy for us . As humans have ambitious and greedy mind, so I would say after a certain level of achievements, we should be able to feel content with whatever he/she has got or bought for living a happy life, especially to enjoy the fruits of all the work done. Otherwise it will a life full of efforts to gather and store but not to use and enjoy them.
2) Secondly I will talk about inner self
Whatever we achieve or get , unless untill it is not providing a sense of peace in our mind, it’s all futile. So a person should be able to control the effect of emotions and learn how to channel them in right direction. And instead of holding and pressing then deep, let them run through. As life can’t be a straight road. Ups and downs, turns and twists are part and parcel of it, a person should be able to handle them and let go of all the fears & insecurities and not trying to control the future course of life and be rigid to it. Hence acceptance and flexibility is the key to peace of mind. And thus it can lead to a happy life.
