(SPOILER WARNINGS FOR MULTIPLE THINGS BTW)

i'm convinced that dom fera knows what the inside of my soul looks like. every single one of his songs has resonated with me on a level that nothing else has reached before. each one of these ten songs is so perfect, and while all different, they all share that certain je ne sais quoi unique to dom fera's music. genuinely, i've never heard anything even come close to this specific feeling his music evokes in me, and all the while i cannot help but think that i have heard something similar somewhere before, like a distant memory. this album feels like drinking warm tea inside after playing in the snow, or looking out the car window, or lying on the floor. i especially liked the song 'lately', i feel like it reflects exactly how i've been feeling the last year or so (something i've been thinking about today, before listening, in fact); it might be my favorite song from it. this album might be everything i've ever wished for in music, ever, without knowing it, without being aware of it. this is going to my mp3 player immediately. i can't believe this has been out for like a week and i didn't even know

if it's true that this is where season three as a whole ends then that is A Bit Strange because it was just twelve episodes? but maybe i just don't know enough to talk about this. anyway REALLY REALLY GOOD!!! the culling game is a really interesting part of jjk, and i'm really happy about how it was adapted. it had a really awesome way of introducing awesome new characters and awesome new cursed techniques (with exceptions of course. looking at you reggie star what is going on) and there were some REALLY awesome people introduced. i love you higuruma and takaba and kirara and hakari and HANA MY GIRL even though we haven't seen much of you yet !!! gonna be years and years until we see much more but i'm really excited to see hana properly,, and also charles and kashimo even,, augh i love jjk
I LOVE MAKI SO MUCH. I LOVE MAKI SO FREAKING MUCH AND I LOVE THAT SHE GOT HER KILL BILL MOMENT IT WAS SO DESERVED I LOVE FUCKED UP FAMILY DYNAMICS AND I LOVE MAKI ZENIN
i think the fight between yuta and all those guys was a nice place to end it actually !! it's a really good fight though i wish we'd seen more of takako in it. jjk vs women honestlyyy. because of woke. but i think this was a really fun way to find out about yuta's cursed technique, i'm a big fan of the way it was framed!! yuta you're so cool
and of course the animation and the art is so so so beautiful. holy shit. like genuinely
ALSO obligatory nobara mention. i miss her a LOT a lot. three (3) frames of her in the love rendezvous episode is all i've been thinking about lately

really really really important to me. visually, this is, in my opinion, probably the most beautiful part of jujutsu kaisen,, after rewatching this i could not stop thinking about my good friend suguru geto, and i already talk about him a lot in my letterboxd reviews of this But. god i just miss him so much and he makes me So sad i physically am unable to think about him for too long. the same goes for riko amanai god she was literally just a girl. most jjk deaths are horrifying but i think riko's stands out because the entire time the story is moving towards a point where she stops being riko amanai, and we know this, and just when she makes the decision to keep living as herself, everything is ruined Goddddd. i hate toji fushiguro it is deadass his fault everything bad in jjk happened it's All His Fault fuck you toji stupid ass dad. anyway i miss my friends so much hidden inventory makes me Really Really Sad. hi grem ily

no one understands how difficult it was for me to keep my mouth shut about the existence of lon mi. that's a lie one person understands and that's artie, and i need to give them a shoutout for talking to me about nothing other than this for a straight week after this album's patreon release. it feels so surreal to have heard from my friends the posties again after i was convinced the posthuman cabaret would be the end of their story! han mi and lloyd and a mention of uncle david — not uncle raven, uncle david!!! and lon mi!!! can you believe the narrator was HAN MI'S DAUGHTER this entire time!!!
of course, though, that's not the only thing i thought was wonderful about this album. i really enjoyed the moments between zasza and pihlasz, as well as jenna's development. and i was incredibly happy to see yery again!! during his conversation with vir my internet died so i unfortunately missed all the your mom jokes which i am SO sad about. it's okay because i'm listening to them on bandcamp while i type this ^_^
and i don't even know what my favorite song is!! i really REALLY liked 'the last love' — piper's voice is so beautiful, especially here — and 'astrid's story', which was the only one where i kind of remember how it went from the patreon stream, and it's soooo SO so so pretty. i love you astrid!
ps has anyone noticed that lon introduces everyone except for skyler when the story switches to them. have we considered this

earlier i saw somebody describe this show as very human and i cannot help but agree. it's so refreshing for me to watch something where a big part of the struggles the main characters face come from just trying to get by living their lives — trying to pay rent, applying for jobs — while also trying to figure out relationships and love. on this topic i won't hear anything from anybody trying to convince me that nana is not doomed yuri it's very much yuri and very much doomed. forever and ever thinking about how much they both needed each other towards the end. and the strawberry glasses. i think if i think about nana komatsu too hard i will cry
