DOCTOR WHO "I've Got Mail" files

When sam80853 and I watched the latest episode of DOCTOR WHO it became very clrear to us that I had to sit down to create an "I've Got Mail" file.

So here they are, in a few versions suitable for a lot of platforms. Let me know if there are any other options you would like.

Playing Santa Clause

Ianto couldn't quite remember what exactly had startled him awake until he heard the noise again. He slowly opened his eyes and reached over to the other side of the bed but it was empty. Jack's tiny room deep within the Hub was lit only by what little light fell through the open hatch. Ianto frowned and added one of Jack's discarded white tees to the boxers he was wearing before he poked his head out of the opening into Jack's office.

The sight of Jack sitting on the floor, cross-legged and similarily dressed in boxers and a tee brought a smile to Ianto's lips. The fact that Jack was apperently trying to set up a christmas tree and failing miserably to get the old-fashioned stand to work widened that smile into a broad grin.

"Really, Sir?" Ianto said teasingly, his elbows propped up on the edge of the hatch, his head resting on the palms of his hands.

Jack's head snapped around and he sighed before he got back to work on the stubborn stand. "Why aren't you asleep, Ianto? You weren't supposed to see any of this."

Ianto pushed himself up out of the hatch and walked over to Jack. He squatted down behind him, put his arms around Jack's waist and rested his chin on his shoulder. "I'm sorry, Jack, but I think I'm a little too old to believe in Santa Clause."

"Oh, that's a shame," Jack said conversationally. "You would like him." Ianto blinked. He had no idea whether Jack was serious or just teasing him.

"Seriously though, can't you do this tomorrow? We can all help," Ianto whispered into Jack's ear before he rubbed his nose against Jack's neck and inhaled deeply. "It'll be fun. All of us being all christmassy. Maybe we can put a Santa hat on Myfanwy."

Jack tried to shrug Ianto off. "I want to have this ready before Gwen, Tosh and Owen come in. Decorations, lights, presents -- everything. But while I'm able to get the most sophisticated alien tech to work I apparently seem to be incapable of handling a stupid tree stand!" Frustratedly Jack let it drop to the floor and Ianto recognized the noise that had woken him.

"Come back to bed, Jack." Ianto smiled and planted a kiss on Jack's neck. He got up, walked over to the hatch and lowered himself down into the bedroom. Sticking his head back up through the opening one more time he gave Jack a leering grin. "At least here I'm fairly sure that you don't have any problems getting things up in a proper manner."

Jack pursed his lips and burst out laughing, rolling his eyes towards the ceiling. He hurried over to the hatch. "Oh, just wait for it, Ianto Jones." He almost hurled himself down the opening. "I have it on good authority that you've been a naughty boy!"
