10. your place isn't exactly girl-friendly.

buffy: what? do i have funny bed hair or something?
angel: or something.
buffy: i guess we got a little carried away with the whole post-slayage nap thing. ooh, not good.
angel: where're you going?
buffy: to go kill a cat on my head.
angel: no mirrors.
buffy: you know, this place really isn't girl friendly. no mirrors, no natural light.
angel: i think you look perfect.
buffy: oh, yeah, i really like.. okay! maybe we should think about getting a few mirrors. and maybe a drawer, you know, for some of my stuff. because that's what couples do. they have drawers.
angel: mmm, that's right.

09. i'll never leave.

buffy: how did you find me here?
angel: if i was blind, i would see you.
buffy: stay with me.
angel: forever. that's the whole point. i'll never leave. not even if you kill me.

08. close your eyes.

angel: buffy? what's going on? where are we? i-i don't remember.

angel: i saw you before you became the slayer.
buffy: what?

buffy: why?
angel: 'cause i could see your heart. you held it before you for everyone to see. and i worried that it would be bruised or torn. and more than anything in my life i wanted to keep it safe.. to warm it with my own.

buffy: i won't let you die. i can't. angel, the blood of a slayer is the only cure.
angel: faith..
buffy: i tried. i killed her.
angel: then it's over.
buffy: it's never over! i won't let you die..

o4. all i can ever think about is how badly i want to kiss you.

buffy: my diary? you read my diary? that is not okay! a diary is like, a person's most private place! i.. you don't even know what i was writing about! 'hunk' can mean a lot of things, bad things. and, and when it says that your eyes are 'penetrating', i meant to write 'bulging'.
angel: buffy..
buffy: and 'A' doesn't even stand for 'angel' for that matter, it stands for.. 'achmed', a charming foreign exchange student, so that whole fantasy part has nothing to do with you at. all.
angel: your mother moved your diary when she came in to straighten up. i watched from the closet. i didn't read it, i swear.

angel: i did a lot of thinking today. i really can't be around you. because when i am..

buffy: what if drusilla is alive? we never saw her body.
angel: she's not. but even if she was, we'd deal.
