Timelines: Compose Timelines
We can next Timelines in others to group actions into small reusable sequences.
Sometimes we may want to build a Timeline using other timelines as the actions. For example:
- Repeat a series of actions over and over
- Group actions actions into timelines
- Use timelines from entities in different files
In Reality Composer Pro we can do this by dragging one Timeline into another. For example, the ParentTimeline uses three other timelines: Car, Plane, and Rocket. This works even when the Rocket Timeline is defined in another scene/file.

After dragging in a child Timeline, click on it to edit options in the Inspector. We can enter a Repeat Count or set it to Repeat Forever.

Composing Timelines can be a great way to keep our scenes modular and easy to update.
