My Traveling Journey (#3) – You Will Love Vacationing in Florida
St George Island Lighthouse, Destin, Henderson Beach State Park
I love Florida’s Panhandle.
If you have read my previous posts on Substack and over Medium, you know I am a huge fan of the Sunshine State.
I have vacationed in Cape Canaveral, Cocoa Beach, Key Largo, Orlando, Fort Walton Beach, and Destin over a dozen times.
I love everything about Florida, especially the panhandle, from its sugar-colored sand beaches to its crystal-clear waters, and to its plethora of things you can see and do.
Florida is awesome.
It has been a minute since I last visited Florida due to medical reasons beyond my control, but I hope to adventure there again in the near future.
Hell, it’s a better than 50/50 chance that I will retire there in the next five years, that’s how much I love the state.
Now that I have laid the groundwork for you, here are a few photographs I took from previous trips to the Sunshine State.
I hope you enjoy these and others I have posted on my Flickr page.
Thank you for reading this far.
1) The first view you will see in Destin, Florida, is of HarborWalk Village, a condo, entertainment, and shopping district right on the inlet that connects the Gulf of America with Choctawhatchee Bay. To the left of this building, on the other side of Destin Bridge, is Crab Island, a place that on weekends will be packed with boats and partygoers.
2) This is Destin Harbor, looking towards HarborWalk and Destin Bridge in the distance.
3) Henderson Beach State Park is a quaint little beach situated between Destin and Miramar Beach. A mile-long beach of white sand is beautiful.
These are but a few pictures I have taken over the years. I hope you enjoyed them.
