I have been lost in a hole for how long?

Idk. Ages.

I am alive! I browse tumblr and facebook these days, how strange for me. And Steam. I play games. Also strange.

I am unlikely to make my return to DW or LJ because LJ is scary now and clearly I am no longer made for updating journals.

I will probably delete my LJ and DW accounts or at least not keep up with them. I have a bunch of people on other media (I STALK U BUT DON'T COMMENT BECAUSE I WAS SUCKED INTO LAZY HOLE OF SUCK SCHOOL).

Anyway, if you still remember who i am and want to make sure we can stay in touch, leave ur deets in a comment. tumblr, fb, twitter, w/e.

THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO GAVE ME BIRTHDAY WISHES, I LOVE YOU ALL.

It's been a good day. I have received chocolate, gummy bears, and had mac and cheese for dinner.

The best present i got was from sigrundora, who sent me a autographed photo of Sebastian Roche. <3 forever, darling.

I will scan it in over the weekend. I WILL TREASURE IT FOREVER.

I have now seen the Avengers four times...or possibly five. I have lots of feelings. And even thinky thoughts. A post is forthcoming.

Saw Avengers today with everythingshiny! I shall not spoil but it is the most perfect movie ever. I'm all aslmsdksjnjndjkndje over it.

I don't think it could've been done better. We're seeing it again tomorrow. I'll do a proper review of it after May 4th, under a cut.

I haven't written anything in a while, but I am still writing. Holidays and then Uni sort of...took precedence, but ideas have now returned, and my shiny new iPad 3 is fun to play with and I ended up writing about 500 words of the Kyle joins Young Justice fic before I even noticed. \o/

At the show grounds I fell into a hole and my ankle went 'CRACK!'

Cue the black spots, dizziness and nausea before I threw up some bile and then wandered back to groom the dogs.

There is a giant horseshoe shaped bruise surrounding the knobby joint on the side of my ankle.

Also it's swollen.

i am in malaysia. the planes helpfully refrained from exploding, thus i arrived safely.

i had other stuff to say but it's like 5am NZ time and midnight here, and there was a train at some point.

they like making planes circle around singapore a lot. i refuse to believe it's because of storms and delays.

so the amount of links being posted to crazy and crappy things LJ does is making me go 'O.O', especially about security issues with their damn staff.

I'm pondering posting my puppy stuff solely on DW, tbh, with a crosspost link. Thankfully I've allowed access to my DW account to everyone who is friended on LJ, and I use the same layout, so I don't foresee any issues with that.

Still, I'm really just sick of all the run-around methods everyone has to use lately because of LJ's shit, which was all because they had to fix something that wasn't even broken. And they didn't fix it.

I dunno. I'm just really not happy with their attitude right now. Consider my days of a paid account with LJ definitely over.

But I hate the whole 'split between two platforms' thing.

And dreamwidth needs more comms.

I've already made a mafia comm - which i can see proving useful through LJ's very common down times and DDoS attacks, if nothing else - but i want more fandom comms too. OFFER SUGGESTIONS AT WILL.

I think the most potentially upsetting thing about these LJ changes is the loss of all my icons. Like, i doubt i'll be renewing my paid account because loading all my icons is a bitch, and dreamwidth only gives me fifteen and I don't know if i want to buy a paid account here.

I changed my layout to a minimalism-based one. It's nowhere near perfect, but it makes my eyes feel better, and hopefully helps with things like fic reading and/or not squinting at tiny font.

ETA: okay, i'm going to hunt for more layouts. *twitches* My layout will change like every five minutes, probably.

ETA: okay, now it's a flexible squares based layout that I am also using over at dreamwidth. I like it.

i'm so glad i'm posting my fic to AO3 now.

I sense it may be time to abandon ship.

I already have a dreamwidth account, and i sense this is where everybody is moving to.

i remember another LJ exodus that went to insanejournal, which is basically a LJ clone, but i can't remember what happened with that.

also, because of my poor impulse control, i have two dreamwidth accounts now.
