Still the most fun I had with a fighting game.
Just play it for fun, learn any character, dont need to care about meta or balance.

+ More shooter than looter.
+ No safe pocket
+ Fun contracts
+ Good solo queue
+ Lore / Story

- Currently just need more content but it will come with time (hopefully)

Edit :
With ranked and Cryo the content of the game is not an issue.
The addition of duo is also a big plus if getting a group of three people is not easy.

What about cryo? Well it's the most fun part of the game, you can play it however you want. You don't have to go for vaults or the compiler if you don't want to.

Its always fun, even when loosing a lot

This game is closer to the old RE than any of the recent ones. It has some of the dark jokes of the 4 without the siliness, it has all the classic tropes (special keys, not a lot of ammo, run instead of fight, tapes to save etc) but in a 2017 survival horror FPS style.

The strongest point of the game is its ambiance and then its pacing because you don't feel threaten all the time. There is some combat parts, running away parts, puzzle parts and roaming parts.

I recommended it for all old RE lovers and survival horror FPS fans.

It feels like Counter-Strike, plays a bit like Counter-Strike but there is a twist : Breach ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ walls.
Wallshot, covering bombsites and getting hostage it's all here but now you have classes and cool abilities.

Only downside : There is no recoil....

This is a good game but it depends on what you want from a fighting game.
It had issues at launch but now all the character DLCs are out and all the promised features are finished too.
No there is no arcade but a fun storymode (which has another level of difficulty), you must play survival to unlock colors or you can buy them with ingame currency that you earn by playing or doing daily targets.
In other words, the game is a street fighter game but the package is different from what the older ones had.
If you want a fun fighting game to play online alone or with friends (casual or not) go for it,
if you want a fighting game to finish the arcade mode, a couple of trials and one match or two. It might not be for you because the focus of this game is FGC (or esport).

Update :
After 2 seasons and AE SFV coming out in January 2018 I want to update this a bit.
First of all I would recommend to everyone interested in this game to WAIT for AE SFV. This future package will have all the DLCs for 30$.
Then a lot of things changed, DLCs gets you colors (most of them at least) and with 2 seasons we are at a total of 28 characters.

What's the bad points of the game ?
As of season 2.5 the gameplay still favors mixup of neutral, disrespect over thinking.
Outside of the MP the game still lack things to do.

What's good about this game ?
We can see a shift in the meta and probably in S3 (AE SFV) the game will be more neutral focused and less random.
Even though you might get frustrated at times, you always come back because before all the game is fun.
Weekly challenge.
A lot of costume.
Good replay system.
Pretty good netcode (as long as you don't play someone with wifi or a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ connection).

What's to except in the future ?
Well AE SFV will have 5 or 6 returning characters.
New V-Trigger and other move will be added.
More way to get fake currency.
Aracde mode (with all the games in it).
Mini games.
And more.

So if you can wait, just wait. You will save a lot of money.
