its not that x1 is hated its just the lack of players and tf2 being pretty much a dead community without any other gamemodes such as x10 or above that for most of the people x1 is just.. well.. i guess to classic? i dont know myself but it could be just that people dont like x1 stuff and thus the reason why they mostly play on x10 instead of x1 but thats just me asuming stuff
