I am Main Legion / Ghostface and Ex-main Wraith.

My Nurse builds for the most part have been aura reading builds.. So the star struck change has no issue for me.. But the addon changes on the other hand is going to hurt big time. ( Since they are removing all of the addons that lowers the cooldowns )

tbh, i never relied too much on starstruck nurse; my main nurse build is calling + im all ears + retribution

Back in the day when mods actually helped clean the game, people were getting banned if you provided Video / ScreenShot proof.
But now good luck with that.

Are mods banning survivors who insult people, or still don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about them, because they pay more?

Genuinely asking, because in every match there seem to be a little ♥♥♥♥ like that, and somehow they are not even afraid of bans.

To be frank, I don't even have the will to be mad about the current (and the past, and the future) state of DbD.

I will only play survivor and occasionally switch to killer just to remember how miserable playing this role is.

Honestly I am either going to quit, or just take a big break from the game.. I will probably play during the Halloween event.. But I cant say I will finish it or not. It depends. I've seen how overpowered the boon totems are and its something I called as soon as they announced it..

They can destroy your lit hexes with the boon totems along with placing theirs.. That is a bit much if you ask me. I do like the fact that Trapper finally got some love.. Same with Plague.. Some of the changes to Spirit I am just sure on at the moment.. Deathslinger nerf seems odd to me...

Then you have the perk changes for survivors.. Some of them are insane now.. This stuff is making me kinda not want to play at the moment. Also some of these changes are making me think they see VHS and are getting concerned that they will lose a lot of players to it. At least a fair amount of the changes feels like that a bit.

welp At least spirit aint alone with her execution they sent Ds to the gallows too now..

Yeah man im sorry hyped for VHS i saw the game and my god its the polar opposite of dbd.

Bugless (dbd beta was a nightmare if u recall) polished good and non annoying stuff for both sides (no clicking flashlights for one) no bright af lights and the devss look good and good at their game too!

And the gameplay is fun af too a battle to the death not a snozze to the death

Well. Depends on what they really do with the change.. Its not like BHVR to lie right? .. Right? ... Honestly I think I am finally done with the game.. Have not been on it at all in a long time now.. Been playing the D2 remaster as well as a few other things.. For me the Hellraiser DLC was incredibly broken.. I got fed up with it. ( And when I found out how MMR was done I got really,really pissed off at BHVR. I admit. Its exactly what they claimed they would not do, and its extremely simple. The exact opposite of what they claimed it would be.. )

Just a FYI.. And I know a lot of you have already picked up the DLC.. But the Hellrasier chapter is 3.99 on Humble Bundle, and I think the rest is on sale ( 50% off I believe? I did not fully look ) .. So for those who do not have it but are wanting it.. There ya go.. I admit if I was not a huge fan of that series I probably would not get it... But I did say I would come back if Hellraiser became a chapter for DBD. ( I also mentioned John Carpenter's The Thing, as well as Phantasm. )

Yeah kinda lame that stance im personally on the "♥♥♥♥ the fake rules of dbd stance" personally.

Although i do prefer to play fair rather than optimally ( lots of hits hooks chases and stuff)

I've concluded that your entire thesis here reduces to playing in a way you won't be shamed for by survivors. That seems to be the only real thing you care about. As a content creator, I guess that makes sense.

Meh i still dont care if they lose or win as long as i win so yeah

If the game says i won then Yay.

If the game says they won well i cant even see it but i personally dont care.

I do care only if it affects me or my team (which includes randoms kinda unless they dc or are idiots then i hope they lose)

Basically tunnel and camp, bait altruistic players to come to the hook instead of doing gens, waste their time by not letting them unhook and if they do manage, focus on the unhooked person so that the unhooker doesnt get many altruism points.

If you prefer the PIP system as a performance metric and winning condition, over kills then that means that if you pip and the survivors pip, regardless of whether they live or die, the game can be considered TIED.

The example that you posted is a TIE. If most of your games end with survivors piping then most of your games end in a TIE.

If you want to win do not let them pip, regardless of whether they live or die. That means first and foremost no unhooks, no healing, do not give chases if you wont be able to down, focus on killing them 1 by 1 as fast as possible.

True Sariell but at least its what the game defines as a win condition.

And i prefer that over kills ( which is a way more unfun metric since it actively defends the most boring parts of the game camping tunneling slugging and gen rushing)

I think that team could have easily had you by around the five minute mark, and started screwing around instead of finishing the generator momentum they started.

The PIP system may be utter BS but it is an imposed metric. If we were to judge our own skill as well as each others by performance against subjectively defined rules then we would be talking forever.
