Hes literally telling you who are the ones with "therefore" "everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them" they are the ones who claim faith but dont have actual faith. they are those who dont forgive others like justifying "self defense" which is just not forgiving people who trespass against you. faith without works is dead if you dont do the teachings of Christ and try to live like him you dont have real faith you are a counterfeit christian

Matthew 7

2 Peter 2

Don't fall for the devils tactics of getting you to sin and stay in sin. This is exactly what the teaching of purgatory is and teaching of comforting a Christian who sins. The Bible teaches to rebuke those in sin so the rest can stand in fear the exact opposite of comforting. Those who willingly sin after receiving the revelation of Jesus are in danger with the rest of the world. The ones Jesus says begone I never knew you are those who never made their robes white with the blood of the lamb. The only way to be free from sin is being born again in Christ and can only happen when you repent of disobedience towards God and plead to him then Jesus will be appointed to you by the father.
