Monitoring - Thank you for your patience while our team has been working to resolve this issue.

Several improvements have been implemented today to address the performance issues affecting the Uphold Card and reduce failed transaction. We are now monitoring the results closely.

US Uphold Card: Card transactions should now be processing normally. Any amounts that were debited from your Uphold balance for transactions previously declined at the merchant will be reversed automatically.

UK Uphold Card: Card transactions should now be processing normally. Any amounts debited from your Uphold balance for transactions that were declined at the merchant will be refunded once we have fully confirmed resolution.

We expect to provide a final update tomorrow once we have reviewed the numbers and confirmed full stabilisation.

Investigating - We are currently investigating a service disruption affecting the Uphold Card.

US Uphold Card: Card transactions may be being declined at the merchant. Any amounts debited from your Uphold balance for transactions that were declined at the merchant will be reversed automatically.

UK Uphold Card: Some Card transactions may be being declined at the merchant. Any amounts debited from your Uphold balance for transactions that were declined at the merchant will be refunded once the issue is resolved.

In the meantime, we recommend using an alternative payment method where possible.

Our team is actively working to resolve this issue and will provide updates as they become available.
