Firmware Update v2.8.22, HSMaaS (CloudHSM Economy Certified Mode (ECO-CC), Switzerland) Apr 9, 2026 09:00-12:00 CEST

Scheduled - We are pleased to announce the upcoming update of CloudHSM ECO-CC CH01 and CloudHSM ECO-CC US01 to Primus HSM Firmware version 2.8.22.

This update is required to maintain compliance within the applicable Common Criteria (CC) certification framework. The current firmware version 2.8.21 remains valid under the updated certification regime for a period of five years and is set to expire on 14 April 2026. Firmware version 2.8.22 constitutes a recertification release and extends the certification validity until 13 January 2031. It preserves the evaluated security functionality and does not introduce any security-relevant changes.

The conformity assessment of firmware version 2.8.22 as a Qualified Signature Creation Device (QSCD) under the eIDAS Regulation is currently in its final stages and is expected, and confirmed by the notifying body, to be completed before 14 April 2026.

Scheduled - We are pleased to announce an upcoming security update to our perimeter infrastructure, during which we will migrate from the NGINX Ingress Controller to the Traefik Gateway for our TSBaaS platform.
