Yeah this is late.
Like, three months late. Well this is the reason why I closed the comm in the first place; I'm time's bitch. Huge thanks to jeebs83 for helping me telly the votes while I was in Australia, and for kicking my ass about posting this. Again, sorry for the delay. I still have some unfinished business with this comm as some of you need to get your actual real life awards from the 50th + 100th challenges. I still have them and I still mean to get them to you, I'll make a post about it.. um.. later, but hopefully not that much later. So if you know you're one of the people who still need to receive that thing you won years ago.. don't unfollow the comm for now ;) and for the 100th.. hang tight, I promise it won't take another 3 months for me to pick those special winners and let you know what you won from mah personal BSG collection!

I'm making this into a "revamp old icons" challenge. I worked my ass off to get into this community so it might be fun to re-imagine some of my older icons. (that, and it's hard to find a cap that I like enough to make an icon from that i have NOT already made an icon from)

Tomorrow is Lucia Day in Sweden and I hadn't planned much when I set the end date of this challenge but as it is, I'm gonna be part of a horsie Lucia celebration tomorrow that'll swallow most of my day so I won't have time to post the voting tomorrow, much less next week due to work. Hence, the new deadline is now NEXT sunday night, Dec 20th. Sorry to those of you who stressed in getting your icons & other stuff done, but good news for all who have yet to enter, and for those of you who wanted to enter more, I suppose! :)

if you, my fellow starttheclockers, wish to make some dazzling billy icons but for some reason cannot seem to find any good billy caps, or if you simply wish to have a bilycap collection of your own, I HAVE GOT A DEAL FOR YOU.

All right, cool. It seems most of you are all a go-go with opening it up to everything; promos, stills, caps, etc. So we'll do that. I'll edit the challenge post. End date is still the same (Dec 13th) and for images to work with I'm gonna send you to Daydreaming, that has not only screencaps, but all promos, stills, and a few scans as well.

To those of you who think you can't do anything with promos, I just wanna say I think you're selling your own awesome short. You can do awesome with promos. >> Evidence A << For future reference for ALL OF YOU, I just wanna say you shouldn't think "can I do this" or "does this inspire something for me?" -- I wanna urge you all to the Challenge. You can do ANYTHING! Do something new, try something different, do something different. Even if you won't ever do it again, it might teach you something new. Don't be afraid to kill your darlings and try different directions. Icon making and icon makers are ever evolving and I know you are awesome cause I was the one who let you all in here. I believe in you and that you can go even so much further now than you already have. dare, and have fun.
