I like how it concludes to perhaps surrender after gripping so hard. Beautiful piece

Maybe I was the sap the way Rumi described

how a drop is the ocean

I think out of the whole piece, that’s probably my favorite reference, lol. Thanks for reading.

Love this Stabilise.

The flow from internal almost human dialogue into the sap in the tree is really beautiful, and to end on such lovely lines as the last stanza (I won't quote it to avoid a spoiler) works so well.

Beautiful writing and poetry 💛

Thanks so much for the gracious compliment, Mark. I realized I missed writing poetry. I’ll challenge myself more as time goes on. Thank you 🖤

The image of the distant mountains is wonderful. We are terribly passionate about the films of our past. Great piece, Fatima!

We really are, Nick, for better or worse. At least the past is very pretty in parts. But so is the present. Thanks for reading, Nick 🤗

This was a very metaphysical piece. I enjoyed watching you compile the fragments into a linear form that could be fathomed. Good poetry does that — each shard is a world.

Fabulous Stabilise, I loved it!
