As we continue our journey toward the future, we have changed our corporate brand to SSC Space to fully reflect our global presence and business focus, and to bring the entire organization together under one brand.

As part of this transition, also our subsidiaries LSE Space and Aurora Technology have adopted SSC Space.

New name. Same mission.

We operate on a truly international stage, supporting missions and customers across the globe. To unify our brand and identity, strengthen our market presence, and build a shared culture of pride and engagement, we move forward as SSC Space.

The legal entity name in most key markets has been SSC Space for quite some time. The company has premises across all continents: Sweden, Australia, Canada, Chile, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Spain, Thailand, and the United States.

When will the change be applicable?

The new corporate brand has officially taken effect in January 2026.

Why is SSC changing its name?

We are bringing the entire group together under a single, unified brand. Today, we operate on a truly international stage, supporting missions and customers across the globe. The legal entity name has been SSC Space in most markets for some time.

The new name, SSC Space, unifies our identity, strengthens our global presence, and reflects our forward-looking mission.

Why SSC Space?

SSC Space keeps the recognition and trust we’ve built over decades through the abbreviation of Swedish Space Corporation (SSC). Moving forward SSC is part of the name, but not an abbreviation.

SSC Space has since long been our legal entity name in many countries.

What is the meaning of the symbol in the SSC Space logo?

The circular spheres symbolize astronomical bodies that together form a human figure reaching toward/connecting with space, illustrating how we and our customers realize our goals and ambitions together.

Should we no longer refer to Swedish Space Corporation?

The new brand name is SSC Space, where SSC is part of the name and no longer an abbreviation. SSC Space has since long been our legal entity name in many countries. SSC alone would not have been unique.

Does this mean that the company is no longer Swedish?

No, we remain headquartered in Sweden, with Esrange Space Center in northern Sweden as a cornerstone of our operations. Our Swedish foundation continues to be a source of pride. The new name emphasizes that our impact goes far beyond Sweden, to customers and partners across the globe.

How does this affect the company’s subsidiaries?

As part of this rebranding, LSE Space and Aurora Technology will also adopt the SSC Space name.

How does this affect me as a customer?

There will be no change to our services, contracts, or commitments. The only difference is our name and branding.

Will email addresses, websites, or social media handles change?

All employees will have firstname.lastname@sscspace.com as email address. This means that the @lsespace.com and @aurora.nl addresses will disappear. Emails sent to employees with these addresses will be forwarded to the @sscspace.com address.

Our corporate website is already www.sscspace.com. However, the LSE Space and Aurora technology websites will be rerouted to our corporate website, and the content added to it.

Social media accounts will adapt the new symbol or logo. All social media accounts will share the SSC Space name and LSE Space and Aurora technology LinkedIn accounts will be merged with the corporate account.
