Hi there ... i'm behind some issues again, but i'm currently busy ... so no updates until next month.

However! I'm still looking for some supporters who would help financing the Asuka issues.
So far it was only one donation, from a person who never commented nor send me a message on LJ ... but no worries, paypal send me the email :)

To remind you all, I plan to give everyone who donates more then 5 a free extra from the tons of asuka issues i collected so far (no the really old ones i threw away). I've tons of those extras and I don't really need all of them. (if you donate more then 10 you get 2 for free).

Awesome! AWESOME! I just got my latest issue, thought ... damn again 3 issues to scan .... and then i remembered not a single donation so far ... and then i got this mail from paypal! i almost deleted it cause i though it's spam!!! AArg!
Anyway it's awesome! and the very nice person can now select two asuka extra thingy!! :DDD as far as i can see ... the awesome super friendly person hasn't commented or send me a PM now ... but i have a mail address and as soon as i made some pictures of a lot of asuka extra thingy ... i'm gonna contact youuuu ... ~ ♥♥♥

As announced last year, please donate in order to keep the RAW scanning operating.

The subscription I have is about 80CHF - 90CHF ... (85USD - 96 USD / 66EUR - 74 EUR) for 6 issues. The goal is to get the total in as donation ... but I'm not that optimistic, so let's see how much we get and if i just fill in the rest...

To make the whole thing a bit more interesting, everybody who donates more then 5$/€/£ ... will get a Asuka extra thingy which always comes along and I don't really need. If you donate more then 10, you get 2 extras ... and I'm not that optimistic that somebody would actually donate more then 10 XD ... Since I never did something like that I don't know how that whole thing will look like on paypal. So if you donated something just write me a PM here on LJ... or make a comment.

Hi there ... I kind of can't reach my goal of scanning everything which I currently have ... cause the Decembers issue is lying around somewhere at my home (yeah I'm on vacation in the country where all this started ... spending NewYear there ...)

Anyway I'm pretty close ... considering where i was at the beginning of the month hahaha

However ... I've to make a not so nice New Years announcement. The continuation of the raw scans here will be based on the donation I'll get to pay of the subscription. In the past years, I was not that much interested in the series published in Asuka anymore (well not enough to actually buy the magazine for that ...). I continued buying it cause of the nice extras :D, unfortunately the extras are also not that interesting anymore (or just from the wrong serie)
Anyway I would have the time to scan, i got a pretty good system to do this quite fast now. But to buy the magazine ... it doesn't add up for me anymore. In my next post, I'll give you more information on the financial stuff since I want to be transparent (my subscription got linked to the YEN currency o.O ... the freaking thing got more expensive since last year!) It could be that a subscription is more cheap in other countries ... but well I don't live in another country. This is a small heads up on what will be in 2012.
In case I really need to shut down the raw business here ... I'll keep running this community, with focus on scanlations from thrumugnyr. Her Japanese got awesome, but her taste is still the same *cough" ... since I would have more time then ^^ i could help her with cleaning the scans and so on ... (cause thats what she hates most) ... even tough our interests are like miles away from each other XD

Btw, I scanned the new serie of Hiroki Kusumoto ... just because I can .... and Happy New Year 2012!

Here is the long awaited update ... Asuka Januar - March issues and we have the final chapter of Ai Ore! what a shame there was no niche double colour page for the last chapter ://

I also had to re-name chapter 28 of Barajou cause they mixed up the chapter numbering -_- .... I know the last chater was too short to be a real chapter! Anyway, January starts with the real chapter 28 ... the one in December .. will be 27.5 kekeke

Also, as announced chapter 28 will have one page which was eaten by the scanner ...

There was also an extra with ... which was like a small Artbook. I'm going to scan it ... but since the format is a bit too big for my scanner, I'm going to try using the scanner at my work fufufu

I was scanning Issue January ... when a page of Barajou no Kiss got stuck ... o.O ... it wasn't the first time, but the first time that I couldn't save the page! :///
Well I'm still trying to save my printer/scanner at the moment o.o (first time I have to disassembly the printer >.<)

And yes ... one of the pages in Barajou is only ... half .... sorry XD

I'm quite behind with my scanning o.o ... 3 other issues are in the line to be scanned ^^

I was a bit confused with Barajou no Kiss chapter 28, it's so short I thought it's an extra ... but the next chapter will be 29 so ... it's just a super short chapter XD

At the same time, Samurai Drive chapter 9 is suppose to be chapter 10 in my counting XD ... but I think chapter 8.5 is an extra ^^

PS. I'm still thinking about doing an contest for a new layout or ... something else. I collected so many Asuka extras now XDD and bought so many doubles (doujinshi!)

I know I'm kinda late with this update and I can only give you 2 issues ... but I've my reasons! It was Christmas and New Year! and I was really depressed! Stupid Holidays ... this year I'm going away .. somewhere ... rather than staying home >.< and I started to scan Grimms Manga vol. 2 ... which is much more effort to scan cause thrumugnyr doesn't allow me to break her nice cool Perfect Edition XDD and yeah I'm scanning vol. 2 now cause thrumugnyr is soon finishing vol.1 (finally)

I'm also working on Samurai Drive ch2, which ... is delayed cause I cleaned ch3 and not ch 2 >.< ... which means ch3 is 50% done haha (good ch.2 is 80% done)

Plus I'm going to stop scanning The Conducter since it's being scanlated and RAW's are available here

Maybe I should be more carefull what I'm writing here, didn't know that people are actually reading my stuff! >.<
So here is the last chatper of Yakusoku Siren! the 6th and final chapter ^__^ (it was not in the last update, no I was just giving a short preview of the next update ^^)
On the other hand ... nobody cared when I mentioned that I consider to change magazine? nobody feared that I'd stop scanning all the asuka series? I actually bought an issue of Zero-Sum cause there are some really great series like 07-ghost, +C or Diece and other stuff like loveless (ok I don't really follow loveless, but I know some of you do XD. The sad thing .... there was no extra T_T ... no poster, CD, special comic or shitajiki T_T ... and it's even more expensive then an Asuka issue!

I'm also still thinking about doing a contest for all the extra stuff I got from Asuka magazinse XD ... but I'm so lazy about that o.O ... I'd need to sort all my Asukas and probably throw away some ... which would be a good thing actually haha

And another great announcement,
we are going to scanlate Samurai Drive in English together with Taciturnity Scan (chockz) !!! you can expect the first chapter soon ^_^

Hi little followers and members ... ^__^

You think I forgot about this community? yeah almost ... but it was hard with all the Asukas issues lying around ...

As always, I was busy with work and the current world cup doesn't help at all. It's not as if I'm a big football fan, but this world cup seems to be more interesting then others ^^ ... with all the mistakes by the referees and so on. However, I hope I'll have some more time for LJ in the future, I used to be on LJ every day! I really need to find another anime or manga where I can be a fangirl 7/24 ^.^ I know there are some out there ... but it's just not the same anymore ... or ... am I getting old o.O?????

Ok to make it short, scanning is in process, currently on issue April ... have decided to scan "Samurai Drive" (サムライドライブ) by KOSUMI Fujiko.
About Grimms Manga, I'll kick thrumugnyr's ass for it ... and then myself cause I need to scan vol2 T_T

big big update!

It's done! finally! This update is kind of big, so I put it behind a cut.

Some hilights: I've started to scan the first chapter of Seirei Produce (精霊プロデュース), a Manga by Miyagi Tooko. If I get enough feedback, I'll continue scanning it. Another highlight is the new chapter of Yakusoku Siren, unfortunately it's only a 4 page half-chapter .................. is it only me or does this mangaka have several open mangas at the moment?

btw, I'm thinking about starting a contest, the winner wins all those Asuka extras which comes with the magazin. To be honest, I'm not such a big fan of those series in the Asuka (anymore) so I really don't know what to do with all those extras (don't ask me why I'm still buying it ... ). I got tons of Kyou Kara Maou stuff and some other series like Uragiri wa Boku no Namae o Shitteiru. Plus I think to add one or two great FMA doujinshi's (by Bambi Takada). However ... I need to think on the content ...

Yes I know I haven't posted anything new since a month and more, but do not worry! we are not death! we will never die as long as you keep us in your hearts! ..... ♥

Even thought I didn't post anything, it didn't mean that I stopped scanning so in the next post, I'll probably give you several chapters at once.
PLUS! there will be the last two chapters of Grimms Manga! (before thrumugnyr's semester break ends)
The reason why I didn't update the community is ... work, I got a job ... a time consuming job, but be aware ... me has vacation next week fufufufu

late Christmas present

I am late ... yes, we finished this release weeks ago, then I wanted to wait for Christmas ... and now I'm late -_-
I have to admit this release is even better in the translation then the German one XDD ... while I translated it into English, I had some difficulties ... and asked a Japanese-speaking friend for some help. At the end we changed some really weird sentences in the veeeerry old translation ^^
to make a long story short, this was the main reason for the long wait. After that, as_seth helped in the proofreading (a lot) and made some real suggestions (cause I'm not a native English speaker ... and (even though I'm perverted) my word pool isn't large enough ^^

So I'm presenting you the first English doujinshi scanlation from sscans :) and many thanks to as_seth

Asuka October 2009 raw and Ai Ore chapter 6

I almost forgot to update the raw's of the October issue >.< but the good news, a scanlationgroup (NS Scans) is scanlating Ai Ore! so I decided to speed the scand for Ai Ore chapter 6-10 (alias vol.2) up. You'll find chapter 6 in this update :) .... and a sad story, Evangelion Gakuen Datenroku is completed now, and I don't really get it -_-
