I am currently going through the\u00a0M102: MongoDB for DBAs course offered at\u00a0MongoDB University<\/a>. \u00a0I just started my third week of the seven week course, and so far I’m enjoying it. \u00a0It is a little frustrating at times, and there are parts of it that need to be updated, but all-in-all it’s still pretty good.<\/p>\n

This is an actual course with assignments that are graded, and\u00a0a final exam\/project at the end. Each week I gain access to\u00a0new video lectures and homework assignments which have to be turned in within 1 week of the release date. \u00a0The homework counts for half of your grade, and the final exam\/project counts for the other half of your grade. \u00a0So far I’ve been able to get through the homework fairly easily, but I expect that to change as the course progresses.<\/p>\n

MongoDB University courses are free, and they have several courses for developers and administrators to choose from. \u00a0They even offer both Developer and DBA certifications. \u00a0I can’t speak for any of the other courses, but so far the one I’m taking seems to be worth it. \u00a0I would definitely recommend checking them out if you are interested in MongoDB.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
